“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Sydney Dragway and ANDRA officials for assessing the issue that we had at hand and allowing us to have one more shot at qualifying before the commencement of eliminations,” said Paul Porter, Porters Racing team owner.
“We got caught out in the first session with the tricky track conditions and hence we didn’t manage to find the sweet spot for the remainder of the event,” added Porter.

In the opening round of eliminations, Scott (Porter) was defeated by Andrew Stavroulakis (7.160/190.78) defeated (7.208/189.71).
“This is definitely not the weekend we were intending to have. We know that we have the car that can run at the top of the pack and we proved that when we went 7.05 back in September at the season opener. Due to the closeness between the two Sydney events we made the decision to leave our operation in Sydney. Now we have it back home, we will spend time evaluating what we need to do to get back to the top of the sheet,” said Scott.
The Porters Racing team currently sit seventh in the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series Pro Stock Points, with one round to go as well as missing one round earlier in the season.
