Sydney Dragway appoints new CEO

Sydney Dragway is proud to announce the appointment of its new CEO, Mr Graham Elliot.

“With over 18 years leadership and corporate responsibility experience as a Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Director, Managing Director Graham Elliot is the ideal person to steer Sydney Dragway into the 21st century,” commented General Manager Rick Gauci. “Graham’s experience cuts across media, sports management, communications, and investment.  We’re thrilled to have someone with this type of background and calibre on board.”

With Sydney Dragway being Australia’s largest state of the art Drag Racing Facility and its expanse into additional venue features that cater for special events and exhibitions to a diverse range of industries, organisations and general public Graham’s experience, forward thinking and strong leadership skills are ideal in taking the venue to the next level.

“It is a privilege to lead a team of such passionate people and a venue that showcases many of Australia’s most prestigious Drag Racing events, attracting Race Teams and audience participation from around the nation and internationally,” says Graham Elliot. “I am looking forward to promoting the venue and brand through quality and meaningful services to all present and future stakeholders, while further developing a member-centric culture.”

With motorsport also featuring prominently in Graham’s qualifications and currently holding the position of Non-Executive Director for the Fastrack Drag Racing Experience, Graham contributes to the commercial and corporate direction, as well as race driving for selected events. Fastrack Racing provides high-end racing experiences to the general public at many of Australia’s finest racing complexes.
