Ripper Night at Hi-Tec R4R

With the first month of 2013 coming to an end, we saw over 100 cars and bikes have a fantastic night here at Sydney Dragway! The last Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real for January was a perfect night for racing. The spectators were lucky enough to see over 600 runs down the quarter and Dave McKenna putting on quite a show with his new look bike.

The Perfect Reaction Time Jackpot DID NOT go off last night, it stands at a massive $950, so be sure to come down next week to try your luck at picking up this tidy sum.

Thanks to The Dyno Shop, we had a Dyno Session to giveaway to one lucky person who entered the draw. Congratulations goes to G.Naylor who's entry form was pulled out of the barrel. We would love to hear how your session goes!

M.Marano was awarded the Elite Fire & Safety trophy for "Best Number Plate" in our "Best on Night" giveaway.

Luke Hill was first to clock a 0.004 reaction time in his XRG Ford Falcon who went home with $300 in his pocket.

Mark Harris also clocked a 0.004 in his Monaro but did it after Luke but still picked up an extra $200.

The infamous Joe Sorbello in his red skyline rounded the top 3 reaction times up, getting off the start with a 0.008. Joe is having a lucky 2013!

Great to see the varity of cars that turn up at a Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real and Arthur Kalantzis' Porsche 930 Turbo is certaily at home on the Drag Strip.

Allan Gatt is another first timer here at Sydney Dragway and his Black XB was nice to look at.

The guys here at Sydney Dragway love their track so much that there not scared to get on their hands and knees to keep it squeaky clean ... Nice job Wombie!

Another tough Torana and Rob Cimino's LJ Sounded like it had more than what the number plate suggests under the bonnet.

Steven Casey brought his 350 Chev powered Model A Pick Up out for a squirt and ran well into the twelves.

Garry Hunter had a busy night jumping from his Harley into his Ford each round ... not sure how many passes he did but I reckon he would have slept well that night!

Martin Gatt's Tidy RX7 gave the many Rotary fans something to cheer about.

As usual the Burnout brigade were chomping at the bit to get on the Hi-Tec Oils Burnout Pad and murder some tyres ... and that they did. Here is one of our regular and dedicated tyre destroyers, Giovanno Brugnatti giving his VR everything its got!

Jeremy Mapp has a 308 stuffed into that poor little Gemini and also taught those rear tyres a lesson!
