Another Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real Report

Another perfect Sydney Spring Day preceded and another perfect night for off street racing and burnouts here at Sydney Dragway. The Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real Wednesdays are proving to be a great place to catch up with mates and watch some of Sydney's tuff Street Cars and Bikes fang it down the Quarter Mile ... oh and with Burnouts and Stunt bike action it is icing on the cake.

Once again the massive Reaction Time Jackpot did NOT go off so it's looking to be around $1500 next week ... not a bad little bonus for having fun on the drag strip!

This week the Bikers stole the show in regards to the top three places in the reaction time competiton with John Kinkade taking out the number one position with a .003 on his Buell Cyclone.

Second place and $200 went to young Jamie Prothero with a .006 light on his very potent Lime Green 636 Kwaka.

Yet another Kawasaki and this time it was Geoff Veigal who cut a .009 reaction time to take out third place and $100 cash!

Mick Little comes all the way from Forbes to race at the NSW Championship events, however this week he had to come to Sydney for some family commitments so he grabbed the chance to get some laps in while he was in the vacinity!

What Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real would be complete without a tough wheelstanding Mazda like Marco Mitic's 11 second version here!

.. Or how about a wheelstanding Gemini like this one driven by Phillip Karpathois with Nissan FJ20 power that runs deep into the nines!

How about some ol' school Chrysler action with Mick Dukic's 318 powered VC Valiant rauns low elevens.

While on the ol' school theme John Matthews'XW Falcon is a fine example of the breed.

And of course one for the Holden fans and John Kafes 350 Chevy powered HT is another fine example of the neat streeters getting around Sydney that come and race in a safe environment at Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real Wednesdays!

Getting back to the late model action and no matter how old you are you just gotta love these R35's especially when they run 10's at over 135 mph (220 kays!).

Matt Gibson had "KERUPT" out on the pad for a skid and the V8 Corolla did another fine job of destroying those evil black things!

With the Spring weather warming up the Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real events are hotting up with it. With over 650 runs going down the track and the Sydney Dragway track crew keeping the action coming think and fast. Remember the Reaction Time Jackpot with be around $1500 next week so make sure you get in for you chance at the cash!
