30 AUG 2012 - Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real is getting hotter!

With the Sydney weather getting kinder by the day the Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real Wednesdays a heating up as well with another almost capacity entrant list lined up in the staging lanes ready to give the Sydney Dragway quarter mile a run for it's money!

The good news for those that were not here last night is the Reaction Time Jackpot did not go off so that will be over $500 next week!

John Peterie finished up on top of the heap this week with his .003 light being good enough for top spot and $300!

Second place and yet another Ute in the top three this time it's a Ford with Frank Curtis banging out a .004 light and taking home a cool 200 bucks!

Great to see one of our regular hard hitters Victor Tsatlogianis finally get into the reaction time money with hs .011 light taking out 3rd place and $100 !

As we have said on many occasions you just never know what you are going to see at a Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real and Ron Neale's '38 Buick Century certainly drew some attention with its 320 cubic inches of Straight 8 power under that long black bonnet!

From the biggest to the smallest but the fun factor is just same, just ask Lindsay Copeland who had a ball smashing the Big Block 1.4L powered Barina down the track!!!

Anthony Fichera was one of the invited Pro Street Cars for this week and his brand new combo netted him an easy 8.59 @ 165 mph with plenty more to come!

Another tough Sydney Streeter with Russell Lamb's very tidy 355 cubic inch Torana that ran easily into the 10.1 second range!

We even had the Chook Chasers out as well with Brock Thomas on his DRZ400 Suzuki (near lane)  and David Appleyard on his 400 KTM going at it all night!

We had a little down time during the night so the Meeting Director brought the Burnouts forward to entertain the fans while the Track Crew cleaned up the track and man there was some smoke ... Here is "MY WAY" Mel Czaj in her other car FUN VK acknowledging the cheers from the appreciative fans ... Onya Mel another good skid chic !!!

Well there it is other fun filled action packed night off street Drag Racing and Burnout action at Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real Wednesday ... Thank you to everyone for your patience while the A Team cleaned up the track but as we all saw it came back better than ever ... thanks guys ...
